You go for a good day of fishing or boating, and stops the motor. Would not you like to know how to solve the problem, or not to call a technician? After leaving to check the fuel gauge and battery and discovers that they are not the cause of the problem is to verify certain positions.
Your engine overheating? Check if something blocks the absorption of water. If so, remove it and give the motor time to cool before restarting.
AreSpark plug wires cracked? These can short out when there is too much moisture in the air. If they are cracked, cover all the wires with tape. This moisture stays out, and prevent further damage to the cables.
Once the water pipe or fuel break or slip off. If replacing the pipe is too small for you, put an end in boiling water, to extend over a faucet. If the spare tire is too large, cut lengthwise, and place the tube opening of other brandssmaller.
It is the oil seal leak? If you are pumping oil through a leaky seal and not spare, you can use the chart. Follow the old seal on the paper and cut it out. You can read more graphic for the desired thickness.
Because you never know when something can give, or go bad, you should always spare with you on the boat. Some quick fix-it parts that may be useful are: small tools, tapes, bulbs, batteries, hoses, gaskets andone-size-fits-all belt.
